THE STORY BEHIND KGD
Keep Going Design Co. began as a way to stay alive inside a life that had suddenly fallen apart.
In 2022, I sustained a spinal cord injury that changed everything—movement, work, independence, identity. Overnight, the world I knew vanished, and I had to rebuild from the ground up, both physically and mentally.
During that process, I found my way back to art. Not as a hobby,
but as something solid to hold onto when everything else felt uncertain.
Design gave me structure. Color gave me momentum. Creativity gave me a reason to keep moving.
KGD was born from that rediscovery.
A BRAND BUILT BY GRIT
Keep Going Design Co. isn’t a polished, corporate creation.
It wasn’t brainstormed in a conference room or designed by a marketing team.
It came from stubbornness.
From fight.
From the part of me that refused to stay down.
I’m a paraplegic, and that perspective shapes every single thing I create.
Not in the sense of “inspiration”, KGD is not about pity or perfection.
It’s about persistence.
About taking what’s fractured or chaotic or painful, and turning it into something meaningful, energetic, and alive.
This brand has backbone—literally and figuratively.
